Through scripture study, revelation was received, which emphatically suggests, that these two books, Psalm 1 & Psalm 23, are connected in a spiritual sense that is truly amazing, though not in such an obvious way (as will be shown here). Also it has become evident that these two books are inter-connected in a practical and applicable way (visually) as well.
An interesting fact is that both Psalm 1 and Psalm 23 only have 6 verses each.
One can then continue on with Psalm 25, which follows next, and with Psalm 26 in close step after it. But first, Psalm 22 prophetically points to MASHIACH's sacrifice with the proclamations in Psalm 19, while Psalm 24 showcases ABBA YAHAWAH's Glory and Sovereignty.
Now Psalm 27, next, declares the reason to be fearless in Him, in ABBA YAHAWAH ELOHAYNU and, not being left out, Psalm 20 is a covering prayer of benediction and protection followed by Psalm 21 which is a prayer of gratitude, of thanksgiving and of rejoicing in ABBA YAHAWAH, by the King, ... rejoicing in ABBA YAHAWAH's Mercies, Provisions and Protection.
Furthermore, Jeremiah 17 vs 8 parallels Psalm 1 just like Luke 11 vs 28 describes the Psalm 1 man who delights in ABBA YAHAWAH's Torah (Law) to read it and to learn it (or meditate on it as stated in Joshua 1 vs 8) but, most of all, also to do it and live it out.

Let us review both of these then make the connections ...
Psalm 1:
BLESSED is the man that walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the Torah of YAHAWAH; and in his Torah he meditates day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
The wicked are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For YAHAWAH knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish.

Psalm 23:
YAHAWAH is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul: he leads me in the cycles of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of YAHAWAH forever.

Combined/Adjusted:
YAHAWAH is my Shepherd; I shall not want or lack.
He has BLESSED me as onto the man that walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: He leads me beside the still waters. But the/this man's/my delight is in the Torah of YAHAWAH; and in His Torah does he/do I meditate day and night. (By which) He restores my soul: He leads me in the cycles of Righteousness for His Name's sake.
And he/hence I am as such (a man) that shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his/whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
The wicked are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For YAHAWAH knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish.

Continuing on:
After the Psalm 1/Psalm 23 overlap (or blend) then it is important to touch on the vital surrounding scriptures.
So the overlap/blend is then accompanied or followed by the sincere prayer of a soul that seeks and truly desires to take refuge with ABBA YAHAWAH in Psalm 25, the yearning of a broken and contrite heart, comes next.
Next is to follow up with Psalm 26, the cry from a heart that has finally understood the admonishing of Psalm 1 and the benefits of Psalm 23 ... plus the safety, protection and everlasting Love of ABBA YAHAWAH.
In Psalm 27 ABBA YAHAWAH is declared as my Light and my Salvation ... He is the strength of my life ... He is the reason I shall never fear nor be afraid.
The one who suffered the humiliation of the cross (our MASHIACH in the future), reflected in Psalm 22, on ABBA YAHAWAH's Glory has been proclaimed and displayed by His creation and throughout the earth in Psalm 19 which we reverently and obediently acknowledge.
And Psalm 24 declares ABBA"s Sovereignty to whom refuge is sought from and the contrite heart cries to for salvation.
Now, subsequently, include Psalm 20 & Psalm 21 for benediction then prayers of gratitude.
